Protein Pancakes

Ingredients:
- 1 to 2 scoops of protein powder
- 2 eggs
- 300ml milk
- Pinch of Salt.

Equipment:
- Whisk/blender,
- Frying pan

Pancakes are not just for Pancake Day. Do not let any one tell you any different.
They are great for breakfast, lunch and dinner, not to mention you can make batches of them and keep them for another day!
Also what is brilliant about pancakes is that the toppings can be truly endless; strawberries, berries, caster sugar, nutella, lemon juice and so much more.
Not to mention they are excellent to make with the kids (your partner can count as a kid too!)

If you don’t feel confident using or adding protein powder to your pancakes, feel free to replace it with oat flour or whole-wheat flour! Don’t be afraid to add some seeds in there for extra nutritional value (These will of course need to be blended)

Simply mix all the ingredients together, grab a frying pan (I myself use a small one which perfects a circular shape), place it onto a low heat (this is vital!) And lightly oil or use a small amount of butter.
Whilst your pan is heating up, feel free to pop the batter into the fridge to settle a little!
Making pancakes can take up no time at all or a lot of it depending on how many you want to make!

If you’re curious to what protein powder is or what it is like, follow this link, which will briefly explain: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/323093#types

My additional advice is if it is your first time purchasing protein powder, please be aware that there are A LOT of companies, which use an array of chemicals in these products.
Don’t feel bad if you have to check the label or do some further research! In fact I encourage it!
Like any food product, they come with consequences and I would find it irresponsible of me to not provide a link, which informs you of them: https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/the-hidden-dangers-of-protein-powders

I can also tell you there are many plant based and vegan friendly protein powders out there, so please don’t feel limited!
If you wish to try some and are in need of opinions or thoughts, please do not hesitate to message me or start a conversation below!
Enjoy your pancakes!
